Our philosophy is to design and install for tomorrow rather than conventionally wiring for today. How do we do that? By running everything right beneath your feet using plug and play technology and a zone distribution methodology that delivers power evenly over a floor plate based on maximum densities. This ensures that your electrical infrastructure will be able to respond to today's fast pace and fast rate of change. Being flexible today is critical to your survival tomorrow.
Reconfiguring should be fast, growing should be easy and it is. Our quick-connect systems power you up … fast!
Reconfigure your individual workstations to a collaborative work cluster
We offer two power distribution systems to accommodate the electrical needs of all major North American office furniture manufacturers, the 4-2-2 and the 3-3-2 Systems. Each has been specifically designed for use in Raised Access Flooring systems and is based on plug and play connectivity.
Electrical System Description
Both the 4-2-2 and 3-3-2 Systems are modular wiring systems that distribute power evenly throughout a space into pre-determined zones. Our distribution method consists of the following modular components:- Zone Distribution Boxes
- Extender Cables
- Circuit Distributors
- Service Modules
- J Boxes
Our modular system, as illustrated on the following page, distributes 8-wire circuitry from Zone Distribution Boxes (A) that are located throughout the floor in a grid layout, ideally every 20' for maximum density. Complete coverage of the floorplate in this way insures your infrastructure against obsolescence. Each of the Distribution Boxes (A) are " hard wired" by the Project Electrician with 3 or 4 circuits based on the electrical system chosen. The Zone Distribution Box is the transition point between hard wiring and modular wiring. The Circuits are then distributed throughout the zone via Extender Cables (B). Feeding multiple loads from an Extender Cable is accomplished through a Circuit Distributor (C), which is a 4 port splitter. The ports are used to deliver power to devices or continue routing the 8-wire distribution through additional Extender Cables (B), until all loads designated to a Zone Distribution Box (A) have been fed. The number of circuits per zone box may be increased to accommodate additional loads.
There are a variety of components and devices, all of which are powered through 8 wire connectors. Please reference the above drawing and the following list for the device and its corresponding connector type.
| Device | Connector |
| (A) Zone Distribution Box | 4x8-wire male connectors |
| (B) Extender Cable | 8-wire female - female connectors |
